His Excellency, Engr Abdullahi A. Sule, the governor of Nasarawa State has again re-emphasized that Nigerians must make a conscious effort to accept and respect each others political viewpoint so as to ensure the conduct of a peaceful election in 2023.
The Governor made this assertion at the Army Resource Center in Abuja, as he being honored as a KNIGHT OF WORLD PEACE by the WORLD INSTITUTE FOR PEACE (WIP).
Executive Chairman of WIP: World Institute for Peace, Lamina Omotoyosi revealed that a 7 days poll was conducted on the internet to select the governors who have promoted peace, and Engr Abdullahi A. Sule of Nasarawa State was voted highest online ahead of Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno and Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.
Engr Sule , who was represented by his Director General; Strategic Communication, Malam Yakubu Lamai thanked the World Institute For peace for their transparency and credibility, and also for the noble work the institute undertakes to promote worldwide peace.
Lamai affirmed that it is the emphasis by Governor Sule on vales of inclusion, acceptance of all people regardless of tribe, religion and political affiliation and the effort to uphold a robust security architecture in Nasarawa State that has sustained peace.
Lamai maintained that Engr A.A. Sule is an exemplary Governor who promotes peace, Godly virtue, continuity in governance, community well-being and accountability, and therefore as a peacemaker, Governor Sule will not respond to frivolous accusations with insults as he goes about political campaigns for the 2023 elections; but with that the A.A. administration will continue to enlighten the public with facts, evidence and massive investments in security and peacebuilding.
The World Peace Presentations in Abuja was climaxed by paper presentations, induction of Knights of Peace and a book SOLDIERS DESERVE ACCOLADES by the World Institute For Peace was unveiled and launched.
