THE TRUE NIGERIAN Television Series and Hall of Fame initiated by Northern music icon ZAKKY AZZAY has inducted and conferred on His Excellency, Engr Abdullahi A. Sule the award A TRUE NIGERIAN.
Zakky Azzay convener of THE TRUE NIGERIAN INITIATIVE stated that annually only 12 worthy Nigerians are selected from the rank and file of the most powerful people in society, who range from politicians to business moguls and these people are applauded for their exemplary attitude and love for Nigeria.
In his remarks, Engr Abdullahi A. Sule stated that he accepted the TRUE NIGERAIN AWARD because the initiative seeks to demystify power and close the gap between those who lead and poor masses who are governed.
Represented by his Director General: Strategic Communication, Malam Yakubu Lamai; the governor further stated that the highest calling in life is that of public servant, but a leader cannot govern effectively, unless he is willing to be a servant leader and become a servant to his people.
According to Engr A.A. Sule, he governs with the fear of God in his heart in Nasarawa State and it therefore has bemeasy and natural for him to easily imbibe and exemplify humility, transparency, inclusion and accountability as a governor.
