His Excellency, Engr Abdullahi A. Sule has enlightened the people of Nasarawa State of his administration’s commitment to clear gratuity of retired civil servants in the state which was unpaid for the last two and half decades, that his administration has cleared gratuity from 1996 to (2003/2004) from monies gotten from the World Bank under the States Fiscal Transparency, Accountability, and Sustainability (SFTAS) Programme.
It would be recalled that about 54 months before the present administration, pensioners are paid 50 percent of their pension, but in the last 3 years since Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule became Governor, pensioners have been receiving 100 percent full payment of their pension.

The Governor made this declaration on Saturday 23rd July 2022 in Akwanga while honouring an invitation of the Mada Development Association. The meeting which was aimed at raising funds to build a befitting palace for Chun Mada, had in attendance traditional rulers, critical stakeholders as well as Mada sons and daughters from far and near.
Engr Abdullahi A. Sule was impressed and happy to see a united Mada nation irrespective of clan or group affiliation. He encouraged them to stay united and learn to forgive one another for the growth and development of the ethnic group and the State at large.
