You would recall that just yesterday, I commissioned and handed over the Lafia West LGEA Primary School constructed in collaboration with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Today, we are gathered once again to commission and handover Ibrahim Barde
Primary School, Keffi, Keffi Local Government Area of the State. This is with the
view to overhaul our educational system to provide a conducive environment for
teaching and learning.
It is expedient to state that this intervention is among the forty-four (44) projects
under the 2018 SDGs that is focused to take care of Education, Health, Water & Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, this endeavour is aimed at with the objective of addressing the major challenges of development in the developed and developing countries which include social, economic and environmental issues, among others. This conference offered Nasarawa State the opportunity to present its economic blueprint tagged “Nasarawa Economic Development Strategy (NEDS)” which showcased the
commitment of Nasarawa State at the global level.
Let me reiterate the resolve of this Administration to continue to pursue policies and programmes that will improve the standard of education, healthcare services, youth
empowerment, including the indigent and the physically challenged for socio-economic development of the State.
At this juncture, I call on this community that this project is hereby entrusted to you for safeguard and protection so that our children will have a learning environment that is
befitting in the 21 Century.
On this note, it is now my pleasure to commission and hand over the Ibrahim Barde Primary School, Keffi for use.
