At the Peace Achievers International Summit which held in Abuja on Saturday, October 15th 2022, where Engr Abdullahi A. Sule was honored with the award of BEST GOVERNOR IN PEACEBUILDING AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS; he restated that the peace which citizens enjoy in Nasarawa State is because of his administrations commitment to remain resolute in intelligence gathering and proactive in curtailing security challenges, as well as his emphasis on inclusion, acceptance of all people regardless of tribe, religion and political affiliation and the effort to generate investments and employment opportunities so as to fight poverty and arrest youth restiveness in Nasarawa State.
The Peace Achievers International Summit had the theme: “ROLE OF YOUTHS IN THE 2023 ELECTIONS” and project Director of the Peace Summit, Ambassador Kingsley Amafibe reminded the gathering that, it is not by accident that Engr A.A. Sule was selected to receive the prestigious award of BEST GOVERNOR IN PEACEBUILDING AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS for the second time in two years; but that going by available evidence, Engr Sule has proven in three years that he is an exemplary Governor who promotes peace, Godly virtue, continuity in governance, community well-being and accountability.
Governor Sule who was represented by DG Strategic Communication, Yakubu Lamai affirmed that Nasarawa State is a miniature Nigeria, with a multiplicity of diverse ethnic groups where there are political rabble rousers and merchants of conflict and hate mongers, as well as serial political contenders who fan the embers of Tribe, Religion, and primordial sentiments to score political points; but Lamai maintained that Engr Sule as a Peacemaker will not respond to frivolous accusations with insults, but with the A.A. administration will continue to enlighten the public with facts, evidence and massive investments in security and peacebuilding.
