His Excellency, Engr, Abdullahi A. Sule paid tribute and condolences to the late Aren Eggon Dr. Bala Abaine Angbazo who passed on to glory on Wednesday, 13th July 2022 at the National Hospital Abuja after a protracted illness.
The Governor noted that the late Aren Eggon has been an icon of Nation building who has contributed immensely to the creation of Nasarawa, development of the State and Nigeria as a whole. He described the late royal father as a unifier and peace maker.
On behalf of the good people and Government of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Sule deeply commiserate with the family of Angbazo, stressing that every mortal must taste death just as Baba has answered the call of his maker.
He assured the Eggon nation that his administration will do everything within its power to support the palace as well as the traditional council.
The Nasarawa State Traditional Council of Chiefs who were led by the emir of Lafia HRH. Sidi Bage ably represented by HRH. Alhaji Shehu Chindo Yamusa III also paid tribute to their late colleague where they prayed to God Almighty for the repose of his soul as Etsu Karu, HRH Dr. Luka Panya Baba led the prayer.
