The Nasarawa State Governor, His Excellency, Engr Abdullahi A. Sule has commended the Igbo community residing in Nasarawa for their resolute contribution toward peace-building as well as for promoting economic growth in the State.
The Governor gave this remark during a solidarity visit of the Nasarawa State Igbo Community led by Igwe Nathaniel Nduba Eze Igbo 1 of Nasarawa State at the Aliyu Akwe Banquet Hall on Wednesday 6th July 2022. His Excellency appreciated their support for his second term bid and implored them to register and collect their PVC because without having their Permanent Voters Card, they can do little or nothing to support his reelection.

To redeem his commitment to the Igbo people, Engr Abdullahi A. Sule announced the appointment of Mr. Chukwuemeka Uzodima from Lafia as Special Assistant on Inter-State and Mrs. Lovelyn Okechukwu from Karu as Special Assistant on culture with immediate effect.
Speaking on behalf of the Igbo community, Igwe Nathaniel Nduba Eze Igbo 1 of Nasarawa State expressed his joy and satisfaction with the warm reception given them by the governor, as well as giving them equal opportunity in the State.
He went further and conferred on the governor a traditional title as the “Agu Na Eche 1 of Nasarawa State”, which translate to mean “the Lion protecting the people in Nasarawa State.”
