His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule today the 26th May 2022 defeated Dr. Fatima Abdullahi in the just concluded All Progressive Congress (APC) gubernatorial primary election which took place at the City Hall, Shendam Road, Lafia.
The primary election recorded a total of 735 delegates from all across the State but only 701 cast their votes. Engr. Abdullahi Sule scored 698 votes against his contender Dr. Fatima Abdullahi who got only 3 votes.
In the Governor’s appreciation speech shortly after being declared the winner, he appreciated Dr. Fatima for her courage and resolve to contest the election even though this is her first time. The election ended peacefully in the spirit of party sportsmanship.
